Widget Watch: DockDoctor lets you choose your Dock's dimensions

I know it's not for everybody. I know some of you love the new Dock, or at least have gotten so used to it that it doesn't bother you. But this is OS X we're talking about, and so you should have the right to make your Dock look the way you want it to.

I liked the new Dock too, but I really like it better now that I changed it to a black dock that slightly graduates to white (like a light reflection). My only complaint about the default (which this fixed) was that it was sometimes hard to see the indicators and/or the dock got lost in a window underneath it. I was going to change the indicators, too, but they are easy to see and look nice on a black dock.

Sweet. An app that executes two simple commands in terminal so I don't have to. That must have been a big development process :p
Too bad I'm already used to the new dock and actually enjoying its shiny happy goodness. Oh well.

What is the black iChat balloon icon. And now that you can find files that change the color of the dock I wonder if it is possible to so the 3D dock on the side of the screen. I realize the reflections don't make sense on the side, but I don't care.

I recommand DockTweak, which offers 2D, 3D, and dark 3D versions of the Dock. It's also supa easy to use.

Oh man, this would have been so much cooler if they'd called it "Docktor".
