Microsoft Office 2004 11.3.9 out for download
The 2.5 MB update, offered in eight languages, requires Office 11.3.8 before installing. Happy updating!
Update: Some confusion in the comments over version numbering; remember that Office applications don't all track as one, so you may well see Excel, Entourage and Word disagreeing on what version they are. I generally refer to the version of the "Microsoft Component Plugin" (/Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/ Office/Microsoft Component Plugin) to see what overall version of the suite is installed. For the record, the picture above is not of an obscure Hebrew logo, as a couple of readers have wondered: those are the icons of Entourage, Word, Powerpoint and Excel respectively.
Thanks Laurie!

Got issues with Word quitting unexpectedly when you print a document? Don't be ashamed, it's perfectly normal, happens to everyone once in...

MS Word can't write to save its life. The grammatical solutions it suggests and style problems it encounters in my writing (business and personal, creative) are just maddening. I am so sick and tired of expressions I know for a fact are grammatically correct being questioned or flagged, and then I get no help from the stupid help button. Just venting, not interested in a bunch of tech-geek crap about the Dark Side and how much better Apple is.

Well...wait...so a person's opinion is only valid if he's been posting more than you? Okay, try me on for size, bucko.
Your overreaction to JoshG's calm and rational post tells me a few things. First, you're not used to having people tell you to sit down and shut up. Second, you don't like being challenged. Three, if that was your idea of humour, you're less funny than Robin Williams on codeine.
I wasn't kidding. it's people like YOU, specifically like YOU, who attack anyone who refuses to needlessly bash Microsoft who are giving ALL Mac users, even the rational ones a HUGE black eye.
@kakapo: And I care about this because...? I use Pages, Numbers, Keynote and Mail... which all seem to work rather famously with Leopard. Hmmm.. MicroSuck sucks..."
Sure, TUAW should only post about things which matter to YOU, but since you lack the ability to send people to the cornfield, they're going to post about stuff of interest to other folks.
And "MicroSuck sucks"? Mature. It's idiots like you who give the rest of us a huge ol' black eye. Grow up.
Have faith, folks. I have been running the beta for Office 2008. Yeah there are a few bugs in it that they are working on, but it is a slick piece of eye-candy. It looks droolably good and Word, Excel, and Powerpoint have several features that make them must have. Entourage is NOT the great leap forward that many want it to be, but is is better than 2004 especially in the calendering department.

@#12 You have a right to your opinion and I have a right to mine.
I have used Microsoft products in the past - now, as little as possible. Not choosing to use a product does not make me immature and insecure, it means that I can make selective choices based upon experience. And choosing to voice my opinions on an Apple website (as unofficial as it is) about my disdain for Microsoft is not only apropos but also usually accepted. The only ones who usually complain are M$ trolls.
Maybe in addition to M$ fanfluff you are also a psychologist, since it amazes me that you can make such prejudicial commentary based upon obvious slanted humour!
You may want to review the other comments in this thread and with your clever repartee pronounce your tainted diagnosis upon them, also.
Oh, why am I commenting because I rather enjoy this webite and often we make comments that are most derisive toward M$. You must be rather new... as in signing up on 6 November 2007.
Gosh, just to blast me. How sweet! Really, you shouldn't have!
