Apple's Pro apps feel the updating love
First Tiger is updated, then iPhoto, and now the Pro apps are getting the update treatment. Apple has released a slew of updates for their Pro apps. The list includes:- Color 1.0.2
- Motion 3.0.2
- Compressor 3.0.2
- Final Cut Pro 6.0.2
- Pro Applications Update 2007-02
- DVD Studio Pro 4.2.1
- Cinema Tools 4.0.1
- Soundtrack Pro 2.0.2

2) from what i've been reading, apple may have blacklisted pirated serial numbers. i tend to believe this since my legit install works perfectly.
6) the aperture/TM update will be forthcoming i'm sure. if 10.5.1 doesn't fix it, then it's a bigger and harder problem to fix and it will take longer. i've found the work around of excluding the aperture DB from TM's backups to work pretty well though.

My FCP Studio install is legitimate, and I have the hole in my bank account to prove it. Still reset my serialization and I had to redo it.
Anyone else notice that the pro apps now change the Mac interface to Graphite when they are launched? Kind of annoying, I mean, shouldn't I have a choice whether I use Graphite or Blue? Oh, wait, I do, in the System Preferences. So why have they wrested control of that choice away from me when I run certain apps?

HEres hoping the FXPlug bug is fixed now :P Nothing beats rendering out a feature length movie in HD, waiting 2 hours, and having FCP crash in the last 70%...
