Feral releases Tomb Raider Anniversary
There are a few hitches-- it's Intel processors only at this point (though a Universal binary is due next year), and like most 3D games lately, GMA video cards are out. 10.4 is listed, there's no indication of whether the game works in Leopard or not. The good news is that while a lot of Tomb Raider games lately have been terrible, this one is supposed to be a nice return to the spelunking of old. The Windows version got reviewed favorably, but there's no word yet on exactly how the Mac version looks. We've heard good things about other Feral ports-- maybe this kind of release is just what Mac gaming needs a lot more of.

No GMA 950 support? DAMN IT!
In that case, what the hell have I finished playing yesterday on the boot camp windows install?
They might want to re-check their sys requirements...
Dammit, I just bought this for PS2. If only I'd known it was coming out for Mac I could have held out and played it in high res.
BTW, it *is* good. I played 1 (and loved it), 2 (meh) and 3 (bah), got bored half way through 4 and didn't touch any of the others. This one rocks.
What the crap are you talking about? A lot of Tomb Raider games have been terrible lately!?!? I hope you're not referring to the LAST Tomb Raider game, "Tomb Raider: Legend" which got an 8.2 on IGN.com and was one of the absolute best Tomb Raider games ever. Not to mention this particular game uses the same engine that "Legend" premiered.

1)its not released yet, just announced that its coming.
2)it will run in 10.5 upon said release.
3)are you holding back for some reason? or is it a simple irrational hatred of Aspyr and not Feral and MacSoft. You point out CMR as a shining example of mac gaming, and while its a very good game, it was delayed by 2 years, with many release dates dropped and postponed. not without reason however...
4)you missed an announcement:
