How to be a Macworld Booth Babe or Bouncer Boy

I'm slightly offended that not only are they placing gender types in their advertisements... The girls get 66 cents per the dollar the guy gets. And don't say it's because the man has to deal with harassers, I've been a booth babe and there is not a moment that doesn't go by that you don't have to deal with assholes.

$100 a day? Are they serious? My sister used to do the convention hostess thing all the time (I guess that's the proper term for eye candy) -- and she was able to convince me to do it a few times too -- and let's just say that neither one of us would be willing to drive 400 miles round trip to work one day or fly to Las Vegas, just to stand around in 4 inch heels on hard convention floors, espousing about the wonders of manufacturing dyes if the pay was $100 a day. I'm willing to bet Craigslist is the outlet for either the companies that are too cheap to go through the proper channels (yeah, I was not aware of this beforehand, but apparently there is like a whole network dedicated to providing people for these things) or want to see if they can get some sucker (guy or girl) to get paid an eighth of what they should be getting.

What about Boy-Babes?

$150/day??? That just enough to roll over once more before waking up.
