TearDrop iPod Water Resistant Bathroom Speaker
I don't know how many iPods I've ruined by accidentally showering with them. Picture it, there I am grooving to my jams (usually something by Paul Anka or They Might Be Giants) and I work up a healthy sweat. I immediately hop into the shower and before you can say, 'Goodnight, nurse,' my iPod shorts out. I thought I was doomed to lead an iPodless shower existence, but then I found the TearDrop iPod Water Resistant Bathroom Speaker. These droplet shaped speakers are the perfect accompaniment to any shower, and they only cost $58. When you add in the lovely colors and the fact that they are 'big in Japan,' I think you have a real winner here.

Then, they're asked if they use them in the bathroom. "Sure," they answer, "but I sit it in the speaker dock on the counter; I don't take it into the shower."
The answer to the riddle? Condensation.

I like this one. I have it on a shelf in the shower and haven't ruined an ipod yet...
I tend to get undressed before I shower and so it's pretty much impossible to forget I've got the iPod there.
So two possibilities: either you shower fully clothed or you exercise in the nude...
Now there's an image I could've done without!
This would be cool if it came w/ wifi and streamed internet radio stations....

Wow. This TUAW gig for Scott must really be the stuff. He just expenses out another new iPod anytime he happens to ruin one by hopping in the shower. Somehow the image of a in the buff scott holding an iPod while he checks the water temp seems very strange. Hey McNulty, how's about you expence out me an ipod touch for the holidays! I'll save you from taking it for a swim.
