Christmas is approaching, and what better way to wile away a minute or two than with a virtual snow globe? The kind folks at Pop Art created this iPhone Snow Globe that one 'shakes' by changing the orientation of the iPhone (using this method, perhaps?).
To find out what version of Mac OS you are running, go to the Apple logo in the top left corner, click it and choose About This Mac. From that window you will see the version number, processor, memory and chosen startup disk. Clicking Software Update will check for updates, and More Info... will open up an extensive list of everything on your machine.

To get it on your iPhone, just "type" in www.iPhoneSnowGlobe.com and enjoy.

Didn't have my iPhone handy so I clicked on the link in the post and shook my monitor to see if it worked. Sadly, it didn't.

you know, the MBPs have orientation sensing devices also, right? I mean, if you use AMSVisualizer.app it shows how your computer is tilted... surely the same thing could be applied to this webapp? or, maybe it would have to be a standalone app? ...
