Answer all your Macworld questions with Macworld Bound
For an Apple blogger, I've a little admission to make: this year is going to be the first time I'll have made the 10,716 mile round-trip to Macworld Expo San Francisco. Whilst I've been to San Francisco before, I'm in the dark when it comes to the insider-knowledge required to survive the week-long Mac-athon (and of course, who's having the parties). If you too are heading to MWSF for the first time and wanting to read-up on what to expect, then you might want to check out Macworld Bound -- a site dedicated to everything you might possibly want to know about the Expo.As we mentioned briefly in our year-end talkcast on Sunday, TUAW will of course be bringing you full Macworld coverage from San Francisco. Stay tuned for more details!

MARC - Cool links. Hadn't ever been to that site.
DFG34 - I agree that each has its pros & cons, but I'd have to say I do think the Voyager is a complete copy of the iPhone. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but clearly LG had some... inspiration. ;-)
And, I'm not sure I'd classify the phones the way you did. I'd consider the Voyager and the iPhone in the same class (you called it a "media phone", which is fine). I don't think the iPhone is a merely "smart phone" because there have been so many of those out there already in that class. I'm thinking of the Palm phones like the Treo or the Centro:

or even the Q:

Those are what I'd consider "smart phones".
NIK - I will be there this year and try to write some good entries.
Happy '08!
I'll be there on the 15 & 16. Any TUAW meetups this year?

I can't make it this year, so I'm really looking forward to your reports.
I'm especially interested in the post-iPhone launch discussion of all the competition that's out there right now. I can't wait to hear what the response is to iPhone rip-offs like the voyager:

and to other music phones like the upstage:

(This'll be extremely interesting to see how the music-phone world shapes up if iTunes removes DRM from their songs.)
Have a blast and keep up the great work! Can't wait to stay informed!

Just because the Voyager has a touch screen does not make a knock off. Both each have their own pros and cons.
Im sure we'll begin to see more touch screen phones on the market soon enough. The voyager in my opinion is a giant step forward for people with verizon anyway!
Apple Iphone = smartphone
LG Voyager = media phone
