Scott you did great; Charming and self-effacing at the same time. Sometimes the cuties are the hardest to interview.

It's funny how the web-tech crowd is getting its own micro-celebrity culture. I, for one, think the whole thing is still cute.

There's the old timers like Mossberg.

The young hot shots like Gruber and... well at this point pretty much everyone else.

Of course there's Fake Steve Jobs.

Then there are the cute girls like Veronica Belmont. How long until we see her partying with Paris and the gang?

Probably quite a while.

It's kind of like the skateboarding world. There are guys like Chris Haslam, Andrew Reynolds who you may never have heard of but are huge stars to thousands of kids. The thing is, in reality they're just semi-grungy guys trying to make a living and sleeping on their buddies couch. Not so glamorous to the average person, so they aren't really going to care.

The reality of tech-celebrity is hours in front of a computer and maybe a little time in front of a camera. Pretty much the same thing the rest of us nerds do.

So don't get annoyed or worried when you see these emerging celebrities. They'll never reach the immortal status of Hollywood stars because there's no mystery to what they do. We do it to.

They're just a little more informed, funnier, cuter or luckier than the rest of us. So sure, let them have some attention.

Let's not forget iJustine! What hetero male Mac-head wouldn't lust after her?

...and my newest geekcrush, Hannah, the girl does the Apple TV guided tour! Anyone else check this out yet?

You know, find a couple more like these two (Nitrozac maybe? I haven't seen a photo of here in a long time, but I do have a boot fetish) and we could make a really cool geek calendar!

Next time, you should try to get the interviewer and the interviewee in focus, not the background! Otherwise entertaining. Will: Media people has been interviewing media people for the last 100 years, only difference is its called a comment, not an interview :)

scotty, you were actually pretty smoove. I don't know if I'd have been able to pull that off as smooovely as you did.

On another note... what was the point of interviewing another blogger other than the fact that she's semi-cute?

TUAW needs a shorter interviewer.

Although this interview had patches of awkwardness, Scott was entertaining as hell and it'd be fun to see him to more interviews of this sort.
