If streaming isn't your thing you can now download Macworld 2008's keynote from the iTunes Store. It is, once again, in the Podcast section and clocks in at 889.8 MB. Surely it is worth it though to see the MacBook Air introduction and rock out with Randy Newman.
Thanks, Ben.

don't get too excited about randy newman. he seemed drugged to me. i don't have any problem w/ his politics, and i usually enjoy his voice and music. not this time. i watched about a minute or two on youtube.

Finally I get to see the Keynote! The Quicktime streaming link haven't been working for me. Tried everything but finally gave up. Thought it might be due to server demand but doesen't sound realistic since it still doesen't work for me. Has anyone else had problem with this?
Feels like I'm the last mac evangelist to see this...

Surprisingly, for the first year ever it was perfect even on the afternoon of the first day.
I used a 2GHZ MB w/2GB RAM over 802.11n LAN to a 16MB/sec down WAN connection with the latest QuickTime updates.

Macworld Keynote stream has never worked for me...it just loads and loads and loads, but it never starts. So no, it's not just you.
Btw, I thought this was a great Keynote. You could see that Steve really tried to make it successful and I think he did that.
Don't understand why the stocks tumbled during/after the Keynote :S
Did miss the "One More Thing" though.

yeah - I thought it was strange when I got home the day of the keynote and could only watch it streaming in QuickTime instead of being able to watch it on my apple TV.

So the podcast is free! What about the iTouch portion of the presentation? Do I have to pay $20 to see it :0

Or you could just watch the digested version (via digg): http://www.mahalo.com/The_Steve_Jobs_90_Minute_Keynote_in_60_Seconds

I couldn't watch the streaming version, either! It opened a Quicktime window for video, then the window shrunk down to just an audio feed. The whole thing was working fine as audio, just no picture at all. I have no idea what the problem was--I've viewed other streaming stuff just fine, even WMV streaming thanks to Flip4Mac. I even downloaded the brand-new Quicktime, and it made no difference.
The problem is, after digesting all the blogs on the keynote, I no longer have any interest in watching it. This was the first year I wanted to see the keynote "unspoiled" and avoided blogs all day Tuesday. So I was REALLY disappointed that I couldn't watch the stream Tuesday night. Now I could download it from the iTunes store, but why bother? I know what happens.

the downloadable version of the keynote does not include the Randy Newman performance, just to inform fans so they don't download .9 gigs for nothing...

I guess I was lucky; I watched the stream on Tuesday evening on a 16-foot screen.

If only they would put out the podcast version at the same time as the stream. I hate not being able to watch it on my iPod.

I just realized... around 4:10 (when he talks about Time Machine, about to introduce Time Capsule) he says Tiger instead of Leopard. :O

There's another spot where the Keynote presentation shows "3.1" and he speaks "1.3" -- Is he dyslexic (and extremely good at covering it up) ?
Also, I was really disappointed after waiting for the download of the podcast to find that it was truncated before the Randy Newman performance. Maybe the RIAA was controlling the DRM for Randy, and thus he is only available on the streaming Quicktime version.......

Thanks to Bender Bending Rodriguez who provided the download link in comment #7. This download is 3/8 the size of the podcast, and includes Randy Newman's performance. On the Windows XP computer I'm using right now to view it, though, the sound is out of sync with the video.....
