Why does this new type of video tale FOR EVER to load - compared to the "old-fashioned' YouTube clips?? It makes them completely unwatchable. My connection is nominal 1.2 mb and loads most things at a fair speed...

Actually this would be bloggers interviewing a senior editor of the largest Mac print mag in the world. Chris says some interesting things about the iTunes ecosystem, so this isn't pure navel-gazing as you suggest.

Breen doesn't really answer Scott's question about why we can't get HD movies on our Macs.

Of course, that reason is that their is no HDCP support on the Mac. The movie studios fear that you might make illegal copies. The new rental model is also the reason that Apple had to implement authentication chips in their AV cables for current generation iPods.

Why's the MacBook Air described as fragile? Are they known to break easily?
Or was the intention really to describe it's light and slender appearance, rather than question it's ruggedness?

Yeah, everyone seems to be laughing at it saying 'it's too thin!'. It's made of aluminium ffs!
Either that or 'it costs too much!'. Compare the specs...
