Pink iPod nano now available

After spending a brief time off line (in the US and Canada), the Apple Store is back up with something new to show for it -- pink iPod nanos.

It's available in 8GB only, costs $199US (just like its 8GB siblings) and is shipping for free. We thought it might be tied to a charity -- perhaps Breast Cancer Awareness -- as the RED nano is, but it's simply pink for pink's sake. Just in time for Valentine's Day.

Glad to see pink back! My first iPod ever was a pink Mini. This pink nano seems pinker than the old versions though.

it is very weird, because the mexican apple store has the pink ipod, but the european doesnt,

So I asked my buddy how he was enjoying his new 3G nano. He said his girlfriend claimed it as hers (it's not the first time). I guess he's gonna have to get her own nano, now that they are available in pink.
