Show floor video: BusySync
BusyMac had a good thing going with BusySync 1 and 1.5: seamlessly share and edit calendar info across your home or business LAN using iCal. Version 2 (due next month) features sync via the cloud-- so you can sync a work and home computer, even if you don't work at home. There's also Google Calendar support in BusySync 2, which could be the holy grail many of us have been looking for. Mike does a quick run through in the video.

Yes, but Spanning Sync costs $25/year or $65 for life, while BusySync is only $25 total (and $20 until the end of January). This makes me all more interested in BusySync.
Are there any other major differences between them?

Spanning Sync is iCalGoogle only. BusySync is iCaliCal, and with v2 will include Google.

Spanning sync does not offer the same functionality. I checked it out when looking for a calendar sync option and BusySync is the only one which operates purely locally if you want AND syncs to-do lists. Also there are significant differences in price structure. I recommend you check them both carefully and go with the one which fits your circumstances best. They ARE different, albeit subtley.

I just have to say that I can't wait for this. If this had iPhone support it would just be icing on the cake.
