I have an admission to make: I change browsers on a fairly regular basis (normally, I'm found swapping between Camino and Safari in short succession as I struggle to find a nirvana between the two of them). But what to do with my favourites? Some people I know like to keep browser favourites separate, but I can't stand that. If anything, I've yearned to be able to simply use the same bookmarks (and keyboard shortcuts for Bookmark-bar items) on all the browsers I possibly can. That's where Bookit comes in handy. There's three options: Manage, Migrate or Restore. You can manually edit bookmarks, and compare them to a 'master' set (in my case, Camino); Migrate will allow you to take a browser's bookmarks, and completely over-write existing bookmarks on any other browser (or overwrite a synchronised copy of your Bookit bookmarks on .Mac), while Restore will allow you to retrieve a previous configuration. With only Safari able to synchronise bookmarks via .Mac, the ability to do so with Camino and Firefox is a welcome relief for those of use who don't (always) use the default OS X browser.
I've used Bookit on three of my Macs around the home and office, with the application working perfectly in bringing my bookmarks across to all of them. Given that the application costs just $12, if you're working with multiple browsers, favourites and machines, I'd highly recommend Bookit.

I tend to use different browsers because some work better than others for certain sites, but I use Safari about 90 percent of the time.
I've used Bookdog for bookmark syncing across browsers. Although, not sure if it allows syncing across multiple computers, but it works pretty well.

Yeah Bookdog rocks - not only does it sync across multiple computers (if you sync your bookmarks with .mac), but it does the most valuable and blatantly missing action - it alphabetizes my bookmarks. Love it and have grown so used it it now.

I have been using WebNoteHappy and love it! I like having a bunch of bookmarks, but if I don't have some meaningful context then all my bookmarks become... well... meaningless. That is what I like about WebNoteHappy, it ecourages me to write little descriptions of why I am bookmarking what I am bookmarking and add tags on top of that so I can later on make intelligent searches. Of course you can do all of this with del.icio.us, as a matter of fact WebNoteHappy can use del.icio.us to post you stuff online. But WebNoteHappy's interface makes things more inviting IMHO, perhaps not so much when bookmarking, but it really kicks ass when it comes to searching through my sea of bookmarks, thus making all efforts to bookmark the world relevant.
Any ways if you're curious you can read Daniel Jalkut's review at:

I love Bookit. I was recommended it by Omni's tech support and I have to say it's a classy app that does it's job perfectly.

Bookit is a great app, I've used it for years.
I used to use it to sync across all browsers on 1 machine, then let Foxmarks on Firefox sync across to other computers (then sync across all browsers on the other computers with Bookit again).
I use .Mac now so don't use the Foxmarks part to sync to other computers, but still use Bookit all the time.

I'm a huge Bookdog fan too. The one advantage it has over Bookit is it also syncs with online services such as Google Bookmarks and del.icio.us.
I use Google Bookmarks as my main bookmark list, and then use Bookdog to copy those bookmarks over to Safari and Firefox.
The support is really good too!

I use Safari mainly, but if I find a site that doesn't render in it, then I would fire up Firefox..

Hi, i've just bought bookit based on all the rave reviews. It seems easy enough to use but when i do the migrate from safari to firefox, it doesnt appear to do anything? about a month ago, before i had bookit i copied, imported my firefox bookmarks into safari so they are pretty close but i've added loads and organised folders etc and none of it appears to be migrating across to firefox? does it just handle straight out bookmarks or can it deal with folder systems?
