iLife '08 Support update available

Just in time for Aperture 2, a minor support update has just been issued for iLife '08. The update, to quote the Apple description page, ."..supports system software components shared by all iLife '08 applications to improve their stability and performance," as well as fixing providing bug fixes for compatibility with Aperture 2. The update is available for users running OS X 10.4.9 and above and is available via Software Update or directly from Apple's download site.

Is there any rumor out there about Apple updating imovie 08 to a more full featured suite, complete with effects etc? Or are they essentially pushing people toward final cut?

Still no fix for importing from some Panasonic DV cameras (I've got a PV-GS300) to iMovie '08. :(

Great news this Aperture 2.0 update! Too bad they are not fixing Aperture 1.5.6 which is crashing on me literally ALL the time. Should I upgrade? Nah, I think I'll invest in Adobe Lightroom instead...
