MacBook Air, Mac Pro updates available

Who says this Tuesday arrived without updates? MacBook Air users can launch Software Update this morning and find SMC Update 1.0, which adjusts the use of the (very tiny) internal fan. If you've been having fan issues with your Air, let us know if this patch knocks them out.
Also, the
ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT Firmware Update is available for the Mac Pro. The change this update offers is "system stability" according to Apple. How exciting.
As usual, we ask that you let us know if you have any trouble after applying these updates.

Says "No update available," so I manually downloaded it and then it said it was already installed. =\

The same thing happened for me. Maybe this is for the very early MBAs?

I hope the firmware update for the Radeon fixes some of the woes us Mac Pro users have had. I'll have to wait until I'm home from work, but anyone else who gets this on their machine please chime in if you notice any differences...

Bah, where's my updated AirPort Express? Looks like I'll take my chances and buy one today anyway.

I wonder if this fixes the full-blast-fans after shutdown and the reboot after sleep issue on the Mac Pro.

I ran the SMC update on my Air and it told me I was already at the most recent version. However, since running the update the fans on my Air have not started up and now my Air is getting hot ter even though it is mostly idle.
CPU temp is at 55c and the power supply is at 54c which is the highest its ever been, the wrist rest and casing are also hot to the touch which it has never done before.
I'm starting to get a little worried this new update is going to fry my Air!
