Flickr find: iPhone in the hopper

While browsing our Flickr pool, we came across this shot of an iPhone perfectly perched by the toilet. Oh, don't be squeamish. You would if you could.

In fact, you can. The flexible arm holding the iPhone in place is a Naja King. It's a 3-foot coil which can pivot to hold your iPhone (or iPod touch) in either a landscape or portrait orientation, and pivot 360 degrees. The coil is made of steel and the grips are scratch-proof. They're $39.99 each.

Now you can enjoy your movie while keeping your hands free... for other things.

i think this is more so that you can set it in place and do what you need to, and wash your hands before touching your phone again, thus stopping the spread of germs!

Here's the source: http://news.worldofapple.com/archives/2008/03/27/review-ped3-and-naja-king/

It's actually a review of the PED3 and Naja King.

How long do you people SPEND on the toilet, anyway?

I mean, it's a couple minutes' work at best, and then you're done, right?

If not, you're scary or you need a proctologist/dietician.

"The coil is made of steel and the grips are scratch-proof." I hope they won't scratch the phone itself!

Other than that... the coil seems to me it's a bit too short. I don't want to skew my head to one side while "anticipating for egestion".

I think I recently saw the gal on "Geekbrief" podcast wearing one of those around her arm for the entire episode.

She had it coiled around and holding the (presumably) iPhone up by her ear. I thought the iPhone was gonna smack her in the face or take a nose -dive every time she moved.

Pretty ridiculous looking as a "hands free" iPhone holder.

That "flexible arm" looks like an endoscope.
