TUAW reader Charles Kirschner writes in with the heads up that Apple TV software just updated to version 2.0.2. No word yet as to what this new release brings with it but my guesses are bug fixes. If you're near your unit, do us a favor and upgrade and let us know what (if anything) you notice that has changed. Thanks!AppleTV update 2.0.2

There is now an option for 1080p. I am pretty sure this wasn't there before.

I didn't notice the 1080p option before, but apparently it was there in at least 2.01. I bought mine after the take2 release, and there was no 1080p when I set it up. Update is installing now, not expecting much but happy about newfound pixels!

Have not noticed any difference yet. Am hope it is more stable and doesn't flake on the spinning art while listening to podcasts or the unusual "delays" in video.
Was ROCK SOLID in 1.0. Not so much since 2.0, but hopefully things will improve.

Strange... I finally just pulled the power cord and rebooted. That fixed it.

GREAT update... Fixed the My Movie Genre SLOW MENU ISSUE. Over all fixed a ton of the loading issues and slow menus.

Browsing HD video podcasts (in My Podcasts) that don't have artwork attached is much, much faster than before, too.

This update fixes the fast-forward and fast-rewind bugs. You can now use your remote to zip through movies, etc. at rapid speeds without hiccups or intermittent stops -- totally fast and seamless. Lovin' it!

Haven't done the update yet but since 2.0 I've had problems with the slideshow function (where it plays through 1 photo at a time). It doesn't work. Only the waterfall slideshow function works. Anyone else have this problem?
