New iPod ad, now featuring silhouettes

It's been a long time since we've seen new iPod ads featuring the old silhouettes. Well, after taking a break from them, Apple has decided to release a new silhouette ad. It was shown on TV in the US today and can be seen by going to the Apple iTunes page and clicking "Watch the new ad" underneath the "Featured on iTunes" section. The music is apparently "Shut Up and Let Me Go" by UK band the Ting Tings.

Thanks for the tip, Bren.

I like these ads better than whatever the other ones were, but I think they need something brand new. The silhouettes have been copied by so many other people and no longer seem original even from Apple.

I like these ads better.

I really liked the eminem one. Not too much a fan of his music, but it was well done, IMO.

The silhouette ads seems so '80s music video. Cute, but maybe something a bit more modern I'd like to see in the next one. Of course not the ridiculous Shuffle ad with the Prototypes, but something that says "Wow that's new."

Who can help me to fugure out the lyrics for a whole track?

Here is the lyrics in the commercial:

Now I'll go easily
You're over me
Gone is luck
It's me that ought to be
Moving on
Your nose is horrible
I want something unignorable

I ain't freakin'
I ain't fakin' this
I ain't freakin'
I ain't fakin' this
I ain't freakin'
I ain't fakin' this
Shut up and let me go
Hey!

Shut up and let me go

According to the web:
Shut up and let me go
This hurts, I tell you so
For the last time you will kiss my lips
Now Shut up and let me go
Your jeans were once so clean
I bet you changed your wardrobe since we met

Now oh so easily your over me
Gone is love
It's you that ought to be holding me
I'm not containable
This turns up
it's not sustainable

I aint freakin'
I aint Fakin' this
I aint freakin’
I anit Fakin' this
I anit freakin'
I aint Fakin' this
Shut up and let me go
Hey!

Shut up and let me go
This hurts, but I can't show
for the last time you had me
Not Shut up and let me go!
For fear of leaving in regret
I changed this one when we first met

Now oh so easily your over me
Gone is love
It's me that ought to be moving on
You're not adorable
I was something unignorable.

I ait freakin'
I aint Fakin' this
I aint freakin’
I anit Fakin' this
I anit freakin'
I aint Fakin' this
Shut up and let me go
Hey!

Oh love, hold this.
hey

Shut up and let me go
This hurts, I told you so
For the last time you will kiss my lips
Now Shut up and let me go
Hey!

Well, whatever the new ad campaign was, it must not have been very effective because I don't remember it. I saw the new one during DH too - the music was so horrible it grabbed my attention away from the computer screen.

It has only been a few months since the last iPod silhouette ad (Mary J. Blige, sometime in late november), and there have been the silhouette print ads all over the place.
