Apple just released a new "Get a Mac" ad entitled "Sad Song." In this commercial, PC is singing a country inspired song about how Vista...

Some might think they are worn out and bad, but I absolutely love them! The more the better (And I'm a PC user :P)

Pep Rally (a.k.a) 'Apple cornered the market on little girls and college students;' (a.k.a) 'Liberals / Art Freaks'
Group (a.k.a) 'The only reason no-one hacks me is because 99.99% of business and homes uses PC's;' (a.k.a) 'No-one Cares'
No, the Vista-encumbered PC in the endless loop hasn't been "hacked". He's doing it to himself. It's a _support group_ for goodness' sake.
Maybe they could have an XP machine going on an endless reboot cycle after installing SP3. :-)

I was a PC user up till Nov. of last year... These short and funny ads helped encourage me to buy a Mac. I've always loved Apple but had always been afraid of Macs for fear of file compatibility issues... Even on my purchase date I was thinking in the back of my head "Oh I hope this works, I hope this works..." And it did. I have been so unbelievably happy with my little MacBook!
I kind of wish Apple would focus a couple ads towards users in my position. I think there's a whole group of Windows users who love Apple and their products but don't want to switch for fear that they won't be able to do all the great stuff (Music, Movies, Word, Excel, Power Point, Working with other Windows boxes, etc.) that they can do on Windows. Something a bit more direct than these ads.
Like the earlier "Get a Mac" ads, the ones where PC was mad because of all the things Mac can do. Those were the effective ads, they need to go back to those or drop the campaign.

I've been using Mac's for 11 years now and they need to slow down and fix their own problems. Leopard isn't as smooth as they say, .Mac doesn't work as advertised, AKA Back to my Mack...sometimes.
These Mac ads have been going down hill for quite sometime now, they used to be funny....even though they made "Mac" look like a pompous jerk and "PC" kinda love-able.
Its really time for Apple to get a new ad theme, this one has run its course.
Wow. I thought this was so lame, I actually followed the link from Google Reader to come here and comment it on. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks it's time for Apple to come up with something new.
