NES controller Apple Remote
Here's a neat little hack with some retro gaming chic. A clever modder has basically stuffed the guts of an Apple Remote into an old NES controller sans cable. He's got step-by-step instructions if you want to make your very own very Mario-friendly Front Row / Apple TV controller. Personally, I'd love to leave one of these sitting on my coffee table.

thats really cool although it sort of limits you to just Apple remote functions.
RetroZone.com sells USB conversion kits for just about any controller including the old NES. I have two NES controllers hooked up to my MacMini in the living room via USB. Mostly for emulators but they can be programed to do anything in OSX. Just had to give this site a shout out since its so freakin cool to use classic NES controllers with your Mac.
