Mac mini: More than meets the eye
TechEBlog has assembled an outstanding collection of Mac mini mods that convert the littlest Mac into everything from a tablet to a wee Mac Pro.
The micro-monster pictured here has an added USB port on the front, a slide-off hard disk cover, and a fresh power button. It measures 3.28" wide by 7.8" tall by 6.5" deep. Adorable!
You can see a few more of our favorite mini mods here, here and here.

They should do that with an iMac so I am not forced into buying a screen.

would be cooler to cram the guts of a macbook pro into a chassis like that. then you'd also have an expresscard slot which could be used to add on something like this:

That would be a bona fide Mini Mac Pro.

Very cool. Only thing is, the mini Mac Pro is a custom case, not a case mod.

Of course there is also this:

For those who are less interested in a case mod and more interested in a performance mod. Doing this fairly simple hack (even on the first generation Intel Mac Minis) will still give you the fastest Mac Mini anywhere (Apple doesn't even make them this fast).
