Does anyone know if XSi will be supported by older versions of iPhoto? I have v. 6.0.6 and they're not compatible right now.
:-(
I'm having a problem as well. I have both a G5 and an Intel Macbook. Both have older versions of iPhoto (v 6.0.6) and both are incompatible with the new XSi RAW formatted photos. Any fixes for the older versions?

You can find it here

I sure would like to try your converter, but I can't get the link to work.
"Can't find server "www.stylemac.com" is the error message.

Fortunately they added full support for DNG files at some point (instead of only supporting DNGs with known RAW format files in them). So it's now possible to convert unsupported RAW formats to DNG with Adobe's converter and then load them into iPhoto and have them actually work.
May 28 2008 at 6:44 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyGo to www.apple.com/feedback and request that the FZ30 be added. (While you are at it, also ask that the popular Lumix FZ18 be added as well!)
For some reason, Apple is not adding many Panasonic Lumix cameras. Or maybe they just want to support the very expensive DSLR's.
myself being one of them :D

I got the Digital Rebel XSi (450D) weeks ago, and I simply could NOT see the RAW pictures I took (Aperture was showing "Unsupported Image Format")... what a painful and long wait!
Apple, I understand you want RAW support at the OS-level (and not at the application-level as LightRoom does), but you really gotta be faster with this, or you're going to piss off professional and consumer photographers, and you'll make them switch to LightRoom...
i am sure a lot of people will be happy because of the support for the newest baby canon
