iClooly: make your iPod into a baby iMac
This is the cutest damned thing I've seen in a while. The iClooly, from Japanese manufacturer RockRidgeSound, is a stand for your iPod Touch that makes it look like a lil' baby iMac -- and, as a side effect, serves as an actual useful way to watch movies on your iPod Touch without having to get your greasy mitts all over it.The iClooly even pivots 90º for landscape/portrait swapping goodness and has a dock connection inside. It'll be ¥4,980 (roughly $47) when it hits the streets June 7th.

This thing looks great. They need to make one for my iPhone.

This is neat because I have an iMac. So I assume it doesn't work with the iPhone cause of the exact dimensions :(

June 7th eh? Maybe that's why there's no iPhone version. Regardless, it's darn sexy.
I'd mount that in my car if the insertion/removal of the phone is easy enough.

I wonder if the new iPhones -do- get tapered, if the holster will be on wompy looking...

Suh-weeeeet. Just what I need for my iPhone when I'm in the office, since it has a tendency to hide under piles of paper.

$47??? Obviously this is for the Mac users who are willing to spend $30 on an ftp client...

I've been working on a native iPhone application to control all my home automation equipment (lights, blinds, thermostat and a/v distribution). I've been considering fabricating a flush wall mount and faceplate I could use as part of my home automation and control project to use in place of a switch.

Too bloody neat. I have no need for an iPod - but, I could be tempted to buy a Touch + an iClooly for my wife to replace her old iPod.
The cool factor alone would be sufficient.

That's a funny looking iPod they got there. Probably nothing too revealing, but wouldn't it be cool if that was the form factor of a lower end iPhone? I'm thinking something along the lines of the LG Chocolate's width.

If only it was being charged on that stand it would be perfect. Actually charged with a port coming out so you can connect it to you own computer and also connect other peripherals.

That's very cool... and I'll probably get one. But it seems a tad pricey for what it is. Looks like a $20 or $30 doohickey.

Sweet, but i'd rather stick to my soapdish that magnetically sticks to my cubicle panels. It costs less than 1 usd.
