This was a separate update right after 10.5.3 shipped.

There used to be a separate download that would add support for new RAW cameras to those running Tiger.
I don't see it.
Has Apple abandoned those users still running Tiger?

To anyone who owns a Sony Alpha A 300 and is baffled that this Camera isn't supported, although the almost identical A200 and A350 are: I wrote a little Automator workflow which converts A300 Raw Images to A200 Format, so you can use them with Preview, iPhoto or Aperture:
You can find it here

If you want a particular camera supported, send Apple feedback at www.apple.com/feedback.
I have done this several times asking Apple to support the Lumix FX18K but still no luck. Guess I will have to stick to Adobe products in the meantime.
