i just went to the control panel on my pc running vista and a mobileme preferences icon was there! opening it gave me a window to log in to mobileme to enable it on my computer but it said it couldn't connect to mobileme, try again later.

When the F will I be able to get to my goddamn e mail again!

just found out that under "http://www.apple.com/mobileme/" you will only find the link "Learn more" at the bottom of the page among those links

and under "http://www.apple.com/nz/mobileme/" or au/mobileme you will find a link "login" (that doesn't work yet.

my iweb web-pages don't look the way they should online -
what's that got to do with .mac changing to mobileme???

so apparently 10.4.11 users won't get a mobileme icon, just access to the service, i can't get any access to mobileme, nor am i prompted to update. apple help said, "soon" and "later today"

MobileMe was up and still should be if you were able to access it before it went down. I was able to get the MobileMe guide if anyone is interested.

Anyone know whether mobile me will be on the iphone today or if we have to wait until iphone 2.0?

Well, I seem to have some action.. but beyond the new System Preference Icon I'm getting errors connecting to iDisk and retrieving account status.
