First Look: Exposure for the iPhone
Before we go any further I should point out that I love browsing Flickr and have always found Flickr's mobile site to be a bit lacking (that's a nice way of saying it sucks). Exposure lets you do everything you can do on Flickr's website and more. The neatest feature, and the creepiest, is the 'Near Me' button. Press it, and through the magic of Core Location, Exposure will show you all the photos on Flickr that were taken near your current location.
Check out the gallery for a full tour of this great iPhone app.
Exposure comes in a free ad supported version, and a premium version sans ads is available for $9.99.

Anything like PhoneAlarm (WindowsMobile) for the iPhone? Its a must have for me!
Repeating SMS alarms/alerts???? I cant get an iPhone unless I can find something that will repeat the text message alerts and possible offer CUSTOM alert tones depending on sending number/contact.
Where do developers hangout?

You can upload photos but I prefer a different app called Mobile Flickr. It's free but your iPhone has to be jailbroken.

Of you add this source to your Installer app:

Mobile Flickr is no longer available for jailbroken phones, but it is in the App Store for $2.99. A bargain, it does everything that Exposure does (except nearby images) PLUS uploads, and nearby photos is already in the next release.
Link here for Mobile Flickr in the App Store:

Check out SnapMyLife -- been using the site for a while now, and they just unleashed an iphone app today that can take photos, geotag them with GPS if you have the 3G, and upload them. Small but growing community, great photos from around the globe. AND ITS FREE

I second mobileflickr, its really integrates your iPhone with flickr well, there are a couple of other that offer similar functionality, tried them mobileflickr comes out on top.

Hey Scott,
I loves me my Flickr too. Though, I was getting the following constant error messages after authorizing and launching:
"Failed on (null) because "Operation could not be completed. (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork error 302.)"
On a separate note, does anyone else find it hard to read those vertically formated "recent activity" notifications on their iPhone?!

P.S. Loved the screen shot tip you guys posted earlier!

Is it just me or does Mobile Flickr resize the image, strip the EXIF data, and screw up the orientation of any photos it uploads? And when you take a photo from within the app itself it's cropped.

It's actually broken in the OS - it doesn't appear to be possible to get the images unresized and with orientation EXIF intact. Other apps that upload pics have the same problem. We're working on it!

I guess it's just jailbreaking and back to SendPics for the time being...
