Panorama Enterprise Server
When I saw the words Provue Development and Panorama in a press release this morning, I felt like I was suddenly transported back to the 80s. When the Mac first came out in 1984, Provue was there with the first real database manager for the Mac (OverVue). It's great to see that they're still developing innovative products like Panorama Enterprise Server. The $399 Panorama Enterprise Server is a RAM-based database server for Mac OS X 10.4 and above. Panorama Enterprise Server works with Provue's desktop database application Panorama 5.5 to create network-based databases. It distributes RAM-based copies of shared data across a network in a mesh architecture. By distributing the load of common database actions over a number of machines, speed is improved dramatically.
Another unique feature is that users can disconnect from the network, work offline, and their database changes sync back up to the rest of the meshed computers when they are reconnected. Panorama Enterprise Server has remote configuration, management, and debug tools to keep DBAs happy, as well as automatic backup of live databases. Designers will like the visual design tools for building HTML and CSS-based forms, and support for Google Analytics.
Provue offers a 45-day free trial of both Panorama 5.5 and Enterprise Server.

After 24 years of using Panorama, I have no plans to stop. It's always been a great product and just continues to get better. I have a company http://HSLtd.us built on Panorama products. Products that have features other databases simply wouldn't allow me to match.
With Enterprise I'm able to give my customers an incredibly fast and reliable shared system at very competitive prices.
Also with Enterprise, I've been able to build dozens of dynamic websites like http://FindAPhotographer.us that just run and run and run.
I cannot imagine what I'd do without it since there's really noting comparable.
I highly recommend Panorama and Panorama Enterprise.
I have used Panorama for over 15 years for various database applications at home and work. I use it to run my medical office with integrated calendar, billing, mailing, and accounting functions. While I do appreciate the speed and power of the programing language, I love Panorama for the incredible flexibility of the graphic elements that allow beautiful and complex interface design. That gives the tools I use every day a beauty and refinement that is head and shoulders above most other data management applications.

I don't understand why this software is not more widely used, given it can be used by the novice to the sophisticated programmer to do an amazing number of things. I have used it for over ten years and know enough to know how much more it can do that I have not learned.

Its functions and tools are extensive but easy to learn; documentation is fabulous with many examples already written out for the novice to copy and use. By far the most productive (and fun) application I have ever encountered in my 23 years of Mac usage for my business and personal lives.
