Something I have noticed since switching to Mac is that a great number of developers think that they can charge money for applications which do virtually nothing.
It isn't the same in the competitive Windows software market where applications like these are usually released for free.

1. There is plenty of free software for Mac.
2. If you honestly think there isn't overpriced, undervalued software in the Windows market, you haven't spent any time at all looking through Windows shareware.
3. Go cry somewhere else. If you own something, including intellectual property, you have a right to charge for it. I am so sick of people like you leaving reviews on the App Store... "dis app needs 2 b fr33"... Get a life.

If I wasn't familiar with the apps in this bundle, I'd think that was a harsh comment.
Money is a very useful app, my wife uses it extensively. But other than that, these apps are kinda, well, worthless. Narrator? Hasn't Mac been able to read text since, like, 1995? Core-Graphics based image editing? I already have iPhoto and Aperture, which encompass all those features, not to mention the excellent Pixelmator. RSS/ATOM? Safari. Mac Pilot? Disk Utility and Onyx. Shoebox Express? Are you serious? What are the chances that it's an iPhoto killer?
The first MacHeist was amazing. I didn't own any macs at the time (only my work machines) or I would've jumped on it. Now everyone's trying to follow suit with apps that look like their design began and ended in Interface Builder.

There are an awful lot of apps that I wish their designs had ended in Interface Builder.
People do tend to over-value their applications, though - it's easy to look at things from the I-put-weeks-of-my-life-into-this point of view, instead of the what-is-it-worth-to-other-people point of view.
Also: iConquer and WriteRoom - interesting juxtaposition.

I'm sure these apps are very nice, I've heard good things about WriteRoom, but the bundle doesn't seem to be worth the money. I purchased one of the other software bundles about a year ago for the same price and it included premium applications. These are mostly freebie utilities.

you have a link to the bundle you purchased?

The MacUpdate bundles have been good. The one with Parallels especially.

I am a registered user of WriteRoom but haven't used it since Leopard as the developer (Jesse Grosjean) hasn't been able to get the plug-in working properly under leopard (it's an Input Managaer plug-in). This would probably only be useful for people still using Tiger or earlier.

iConquer is really fun but I personally prefer the less Mac-ish but more popular and cross platform Lux Delux

The drawing program in the offer, Scribbles, is worth checking out, and probably the most valuable in the bundle.

Based on the design of the site, this looks to be the same people as the MacMix Promo??
But why would they go to the traditional bundle, they were touting their mix-n-match thing and it was awesome!
I want my freedom back :'(
:P

How can you misspell the name of your product in your video demo? (Check the scribbles video demo on their site)

What an incredibly craptacular collection of yawnware. MacHeist was cool. MacUpdate bundle, great. Even some of the more obscure bundles that have been going around, ok. But this bundle is just blaahhh.

Buckingham: They're demonstrating their products "undo" function.

Yes. Check the video again. I know the undo was shown, but that's not where the mistake is.

Color me unimpressed.. this bundle is boring and relatively useless, as others have stated
