CNBC talks with Steve Jobs
As usual, Steve Jobs sat down with the press after making a public product announcement. This time, it was with Jim Goldman, who asked Steve about the new iPods and his health.Noting that he could stand to gain a few pounds, Steve told Jim that he's "...doing fine" and "...surprised" by all the speculation over his health. Maybe he's just a skinny dude?
You can watch the full video here. Steve is such a salesman, watch him launch into his pitch before the 1 minute mark. He also addresses some of the problems of the past year, saying "We strive for perfection. Sometimes we achieve it and some times we don't ... it's our job to fix those [bugs]."
It was a good interview, though nothing we haven't heard from Steve before.

Jim Goldman seems to nervous. He's trying to get some new info, but just seems so afraid to step on the toe of the lion.

@Pete, I agree with you. Let me tell you if I had Steve in front of me I'd be nervous to.
Jobs is the best speaker I have ever seen. I know people say that a lot but I really believe he is going to be remembered as one of the best in so many fields.
You can't really say that about gates.
Oh, BTW that new M$ commercial was one of the worst I have EVER seen, from any company, just awful!

Steve had a colostomy. There. I said it. You could see the outline of the bag taped to his tummy. My dad had one after a botched hip replacement and he immediately lost 20 pounds from his already skinny frame. Dad's bag is gone and he's fine, and Steve's probably will be too -- six months is usually the minimum for these sorts of things. Even though it's rough, it's not life-threatening and everybody (including Steve) should just calm down. If I were Steve I wouldn't want the world to know I'm colostomized -- eww -- but this is ridiculous. It's only poop. I wish Steve the very best... And I would like my AAPL to grow again.

Interesting that he now refers to the "3 legs of the stool", before when they announced AppleTV it was 4.
