Vimeo user UnBoxedLunch brings us this hilariously botched unboxing of an Apple Remote. Thankfully, no hospital visits were necessary as a result.
As someone who professionally designs packaging, I'll know I've reached the apex of my career when someone destroys a container I've designed, and captures it on video.
Nothing but a bit of levity for your Monday afternoon.
F11 moves all your windows off the screen so you can quickly glance at your desktop. F10 shows you every open window in an application. F9 shows every open window for every application that isn't hidden or in the dock.

Nice link, but no. I need people to recognize that fact to 'get the ball rolling' so to speak. If word gets around to the developers, then a VoIP phone app for the iPod Touch can finally become a reality!

MacRumors is just stupid and can't read in the first place to understand that they Apple did indeed announce that the microphone input was supported.

The best part is how frustrated he gets, then when the package finally breaks open, he goes back to being all calm and professional. :)

Neither of those links show the iPod Touch 2G being able to record audio, or use the microphone at all.
Sure we all knew the headset would be compatible, but what we didn't (and apparently TUAW still doesn't) know was that the microphone will function on the Touch, ANY 3.5mm headset works, and that there are already two apps out now that use the iPod Touch + an external microphone with NO HACKING.

The most interesting one is the second of the two, with which you can record and then send an audio clip to someone else right in the IM chat, and then either of you may play it back by tapping the play button!
So yes, I think that deserves a story on TUAW, thank you very much!

Since I had a similar experience with the iPhone 3G dock that I purchased, I'm not really surprised that someone would create this video.
My husband certainly got a laugh out of MY experience.
