- Band (was $5.99 now $1.99)

Where were you when Jaadu dropped to $5 bucks for a day last week? I'm kicking myself for missing out on that one.

I'm tired of paying full price for interesting and fun apps and then finding them going "on sale" or lower priced a few weeks later. I don't mind supporting my favorite app developers but think that waiting to purchase an app may now be the smarter thing since many of the ones I purchased at full price have been lowered. I didn't mind the prices when I bought them but am starting to regret my impulse purchases...

Appliquer, I understand your frustration, but that's just the nature of the market period. Retail stores have had sales my entire life, and I don't expect that to change ever. The Appstore really is no different. Sales are good, that inspires competition. You could always hold out, but eventually you'll find a better app that costs more than the one you held out for. That's just how it is.

I finally got around to buying Trism! I wasn't necessarily holding out for it to drop in price though. I tried it when it was a beta on my jailbroken Touch quite awhile ago and loved it. Now that it's being sold at a bargain bin price, I have no excuse for holding out any longer. :)

I paid full price for Trism last week...no regrets. It's a great game that has filled the void left by not having Lights Off on my phone since upgrading to 2.1 firmware.

I bought all 3 music apps. I missed 'em from my jailbroken era, and they were too pricey before for me to justify. This "Deals of the Week" y'all are doing is awesome!

All the whining (especially in user reviews at the iTunes App Store) about the high price of iPhone apps is a very curious phenomenon. Most people will spend five bucks at the drop of a hat when they're out and about---for a coffee and pastry at Starbucks, or whatever. But how they scream when an iPhone app they fancy costs $5 instead of $2. So here's my message to all the slackers out there who think iPhone apps are too expensive: Buy or do not buy. Just STFU!

Good god, thank you alansky! It's pretty comical how people can scrape money together to buy an iPhone, and then whine about paying another $2 for an app that's no longer on sale! Kind of pathetic actually..

not everyone is flush and thoughtless with cash; those who can't control themselves at a coffee shop are probably spending a lot on iPhone apps, but others of us are trying to make the value proposition work -- an iPhone plus a contract is a borderline value for me to begin with; a package of apps is necessary to make it worthwhile, and a dollar more or a dollar less per app will add up
that said, time spent shopping for deals can have an opportunity cost as well

Yea seriously why couldn't you have said something about Jaadu? I happened to see it hen it was $5 but they were changing it back to $25 when I tried to buy.. So I bought it for $25, worth the money I guess but ugh... LOL

you missed the best deal of all!
In celebration of hitting 1 million downloads, Solebon Solitaire (30 games in one app) has a sale on their app through Oct 7th for just .99. It was 9.99 before!
I had their free Lite app with just 3 games before, and loved it. But to get 27 more games for a buck is awesome, and I think the $9 discount is the biggest one I've seen yet.
Go snatch it up before Oct 7th!

Good eye Cory.
Trism for 2.99 is a good pickup if you don't already have it.

I wish Voice Dialer weren't $10.
I wish the Apps over $1 had a trial version.
