Apple posts "Notebook" keynote event video
If you've been reading TUAW today, you already know all of the exciting news from today's event. However, some people would rather hear it straight from Steve's mouth instead of reading the "spoilers," so here's your chance. Apple just posted the keynote video for the Apple Special Event.
You can watch the keynote here, or wait for Apple to update the Keynotes podcast [iTunes Link] soon with the new video. It's 53 minutes long, so be sure to lock the door and put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign for the full hour.
Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

Anybody else found all that time waiting for the "unibody" samples to reach the end of the line REALLY awkward and non-Apple-ish?? :|
October 15 2008 at 10:23 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhile every other computer company out there releases updates on a monthly basis, Apple garners a si*& ton of attention for finally having upated its product line.
What a joke.
I love my 5 Apple computers and iPhone, but Apple does a crappy job at keeping up with the rest of the industry and the wants and desires of computer users.
Apple updates their product line once, maybe twice a year and all their fanboys wait on baited breath for new releases. What a pisser!
Apple: "We're updating our product line after almost 1 year!"
Fanboys: "OMG! We're finally getting what we have wanted for almost 1 year!"

October 14 2008 at 8:01 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIt's nice to see that Apple has the Quicktime video of the keynote up so fast.
BTW, does anybody else think it's time for Apple to update Quicktime so that you can embed a video on a website with a "expand to fit the screen" option like ALL OTHER VIDEO players have?
the podcast version is up but I am unable to download it. Anyone have the same problem?
