New version of Boxee supports Hulu
Unfortunately, Boxee remains invitation-only. However, you may register at the Boxee site to receive a future invitation.

To get an instant map to any address, just go to your Address Book and right click on the address field of any one of your contacts and select "Map Of." The address will then be revealed in Google Maps on Safari. You can do the same if a data detector determines there is an address in an e-mail in Mail.

You know, posting your email onto a public forum raw like that means that you've just signed up for a boatload of spam...

Yeah I know, that's why I used an old email address that I don't really use anymore.

I would also appreciate an invite to anyone who would be willing to send me one.

If anyone can send me an invite I'd sure be grateful!

I would also like to be a part of the testing with my MacBook Pro and Apple TV. Please send an invite to my MobileMe address (add @me.com to my username):

I tried the almost lastest on the 20th on my AppleTV and it was quite nice. Then, just hours later, they released an improved version that most users report aids in Flash content performance.
As AppleTV is a bit underpowered for Flash, this is quite impressive. Since it's basically zero impact and a monkey can install it I encourage every AppleTV user to try to get an invite and try it out. It's really that awesome.
You get all your AppleTV goodness PLUS all the XBMC/Boxee goodness. The social features I can see certainly taking off. This is a company that will be here for a while.

One you sign up for an invite it doesn't take long to receive one.

I've heard so many great things about Boxee as of just recent, but since it's delay testing/invite only I've tried out the XBMC for mac. It's a nice program, but I don't think it's capable of taking advantage of flash based websites. So, if anyone has a spare invite I would be so pleased. Let's cross our fingers that this program might be released to everyone soon!

Ditto. I wouldn't mind an invite, either. You know, if anyone has some lying around.

I was eagerly awaiting an invite for a few months, and I finally got mine yesterday(they email the invitations on mondays) and was thrilled. To my amazement, the software is excellent for an alpha.

I find the timing of this extremely funny. I was already on the hunt to buy an Apple TV, and I'm a huge fan of hulu. So I started writing a simple OS X application that interacted with hulu, in the hopes of getting it to run well on the Apple TV for my living room.
Now Boxee looks awesome, so no need to re-invent the wheel here. Seems like people are asking for invites, so if people wish to continue to be generous, I would not be opposed to getting one as well:

I look forward to following and supporting boxee

If anyone else has an invite to spare, I'd love to try the software out. I gave the site my e-mail awhile go, but I've yet to hear anything. Adding Hulu support only makes me more excited to test it out! Merci beaucoup!
