DOTS gloves let you use your iPhone even when it's cold

Solution: DOTS gloves. They've got little smooth plastic "dots" built into the fingertips so you can control a touchscreen even while your hands are kept warm. Like I said, genius in its own way. However, I haven't actually used them, so I can't say for sure they work the way we'd expect. While they specifically mention them working on the iPhone, I've had trouble in the past getting the iPhone to register materials other than my finger. Still, if you want to take their word for it, $15 is cheap for a good pair of knit gloves anyway. If you're in the market for a new pair this winter and know you won't want to have to take your gloves off just to work a touchscreen, seems like a good deal to me.

I'd buy these, slip them in my snowboarding gloves, and voila, controls at my finger tips while shredding the slopes.

Then i guess you mean "slip them OVER my snowboarding gloves?"
Unless you were going to cut finger tip holes in your snowboarding gloves... or keep your iPhone between your two pairs of gloves?

I would ATTEMPT to take the dots off and put them on my boarding gloves - if I failed, what the hey - it's 15 dollars.

a) I'm pretty sure these have been made (and written about here?) before
b) $15 is NOT cheap for stretch gloves. Which is what these are.

Ordered mine over a month ago... finally showed up today.
They're what I ordered... works great, gloves are warm and fit ok. But ultimately... I can use my phone with them on and in Oklahoma it's damn nice not to remove your gloves in the winter if you want to make a call or check email.

Or how about this: NOT living in a climate with brutally frigid winters? And for that matter, repulsively humid summers. I'm from Chicago, and thankfully saw the light and got the hell outta dodge. Ick.

I live in London. Anything else is a trade down but it does get silly cold. So these are good for me!

Living in New York, these recent winters haven't been too cold. I haven't worn a glove in years.
But these may get me to wear them again.

I am glad to see that gideon received his gloves. I ordered mine about a month ago and was beginning to get worried.

I ordered mine a month ago as well and haven't received anything. I have received one email with them telling me that they sold out and that they should be shipping to me in a week (that was three weeks ago).

I shudder to think.

@RadDoc
I ordered mine exactly a month ago and I have not received anything yet. I already started to worry about the delivery. The specs of Dot Gloves have been changed several times, plus its price.

The fact that you know this is slightly disturbing.

Good to hear the other people that have ordered these are finally getting them; I ordered a pair about a month ago as a present for a now long-since-past birthday, and I was going to write them an email asking what was up. Guess I'll just wait a little while longer.
