iPhoto update 7.1.5 released

Tonight, Apple released iPhoto update 7.1.5. According to Apple, this update "Improves the printing quality of books, cards and calendars ordered via the iPhoto printing service." A welcome change for many iPhoto users who use Apple's print services. This update is reminiscent of the Aperture update that showed up last week.

You can update iPhoto by opening Software Update (Apple menu > Software Update), or by downloading the installer package from the Apple website.

Thanks for the Tips, Tony and others!

still not a fan of iphoto. I can't get past all the copies that will be made if I upload all my images to it. call me crazy. I guess I'm simplistic. Still waiting for Picasa for mac.

You have always been able to manually adjust the resolution settings but I am pretty certain this update set the automatic/default settings to the higher pixel count the advance users having been tweaking in the past. I know my apple books come out much better when I've adjusted the rez.

Why did they need to update iPhoto to do that?

Sweet! I have used the print services and I've been very happy with them.As were the recipients of various picture books and whatnot. Last year's baby album for my niece was the Gift of the Year at xmas.

The quality is better than the similar product at our local photography store, both paper weight and image quality, as well as binding.
Anything to make the service better still is very welcome.

Thanks for letting me know about this error! I just fixed it. Apparently I am subliminally hoping for that new iPhone update with copy/paste and backgrounding service. :-)

@Cory

Forget about Copy/Paste. Apple hasen't even implemented basic features like SMS Forwarding (which even $20 phones have) after several software updates....

If Apple does not add these basic functionality in the next update, SCREW THEM !!
I am switching to Android !
