Russian President Medvedev pictured with MacBook Pro
The Kremlin has released photos of Russian President Dimitry Medvedev holding a meeting with his aides and what appears to be a new MacBook Pro.
The president also recently addressed the nation in a video blog post, where his MacBook Pro was seen in a similar meeting. The logo had been removed from the video early on, but is visible around the 1:20 mark. Other videos on the Kremlin's website show Medvedev with a variety of computers.
Medvedev has previously been photographed using an iPhone, though some speculated it was a black-market acquisition. At the time the photo was taken, the iPhone was not yet available for sale in Russia.
This follows in the footsteps of other high-profile world leaders using Apple products, including former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt's switch to a Mac last month.

Theres nothing great about it !! MacBook is for using, and anyone can buy it and use it, theres no restriction on consumers...
Besides, a post on "Bill Gates uses a MacBook for personal use" would be more interesting....

Yes, but midway through you can see a view from the side and the keyboard is noticeably darker that the forward part of the bottom half (the trackpad area)...so definitely the newer MacBook Pro.

Well, let's see Steve Jobs allow something like Opera Mini in the app store first, or even an app making it possible to delete single SMS message. Until then the "freedom" part is a bit dubious, eh?

Grey market, not black!
There's absolutely nothing black market about owning an unlocked and unofficial iPhone. Black market insinuated it's illegal somehow - grey means it was obtained through unofficial methods.

I'm sorry, what was that? no, sorry. that isn't me, that's you with windows. I have windows installed on my computer, and i know what i am saying. If it crashes by just installing an application while being on the internet, that to me is ultimate fail. but i guess you enjoy those nice crashes. so have fun.
