i have the same problem as the 1st poster, iwamoto: my airport won't turn on. i tried several things (clear caches, repair permissions...) but it just doesn't work any more.
iwamoto, did you solve it? anybody else with this problem?
My mac is having trouble installing this update. Comes up saying something like it cannot install to "/"
I have tried it twice but it cannot do it.
I am running OS 10.5.5 on one of the newer imacs.
Any help would be great thanks :)
leopard only, this is basic info that should be included
November 18 2008 at 1:58 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI wish Apple would fix H.264 in Quicktime so it would play h.264 main profile and high profile files properly :(
It makes it so difficult for me to distribute H.264 files around since Quicktime is the most popular player with h.264 support.
so, it fixed the video part of ichat, awesome...
any chance of them fixing the ichat bonjour not working under parental controls :(
I wonder if this will fix quicktime for PPC macs... something they promised me months ago...
November 17 2008 at 11:21 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyit fixed ichat for me!!! i havent been able to use it for the past couple months (video chat that is) took them a while and about a million complaints from me hahaha id sent like 5 to 10 a day. thought they were never going to fix it and just switched to skype.

Really hoping this fixes ichat.
/me crosses fingers.
i just did the update and as a result, my Airport won't turn on, i can see it's on when i boot, but then, bam, it's off, can't turn it on no matter how much i click, already did the PRAM reset, it's the last series MBP, this will take some testing, or maybe just a archive and install, anyway, be warned
