Apple debuts two Holiday Get a Mac Ads

Apple released two new Get a Mac ads, just in time for the holiday season. The two ads, entitled "I Can Do Anything," and "Tree Trimming," are animated, and very amusing.

In the I Can Do Anything ad [direct video link], PC shows off what he can do because he is animated. He then talks to a rabbit that is on its way to the Apple Store.

In the Tree Trimming ad [direct video link], Mac and PC are decorating a tree. When PC plugs in the tree, Mac discovers that the lights actually say... well, we don't want to spoil it (sorry!).

You can watch both of the ads by visiting the Get a Mac ad website.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!

these were great. the tree was was not "funny" because your image gave away the punch line. change the screen grab so it does not get spoiled for others.

I am actually surprised, these ads are more about the characters than really anything. I was beginning to think the Rabbit one was going to get away without a single "Mac vs. PC" thing. However, the only way these ads can keep running is if they get back to pointing out features rather than just downing the PC.

Hmmmm... something's bothering me... are they not using the real voices of the actors John Hodgman (PC) and Justin Long (Mac)?

I watched last year's christmas ad so many times and laughed.

This really are pretty lame. Too bad...I like when new ads come out.

"heavy"?!? Have you seen Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer? The people are very round, it's just the animation style, probably to emphasize the 3-d nature of the animation.

Is it just me, or are those two of the stupidest Get A Mac ads ever? More so the first (rabbit) one.

prob because he is heavier than the skinny mac-boy...besides i think it goes to the subliminal thoughts that PC's are heavy and not so great to look at...they weigh you down etc...

and Macs are pretty and versatile and make everything easier...

at least thats my view on the subject...lmao

Why do they make Hodgman look so heavy in these ads?

It's animated! When they draw cartoons of opposing politicians, they magnify and minimize as many major attributes on each person to make their looks just as different as their opinions. You can apply the same principal here.

Did you notice that Mac's thighs are thinner than his ankles? LOL!!!
