Infectious expands iPod options
Back in December, I wrote up a little piece on Infectious, a company that produces adhesive art for laptops and the iPhone. The company has just expanded its options to include art options for the current iPod Nano, Touch, and Classic models, priced at $9.99USD. In addition to this, the company is running a contest where they are giving away five free skins every week. Infectious has also greatly expanded the variety of art available, with ongoing submissions for potential artists. The added art for the iPod models greatly closes the gap between it and GelaSkins, and I'm happy not only to see this company grow, but amazing creative talent that is being displayed on both sites that enables you to turn your iPod, iPhone or laptop into a piece of art.

Very nice. There is a key difference between Gelaskins and Infectious skins. The Gelaskins wrap up to the sides of the iPhones to give it additional protection for the sides of the phone.

Are there any of these sticker services that will let you upload your own artwork?

Wrapperz.com does custom skins for iphones and ipods at what looks like a pretty reasonable price.
They also do laptop skins, though I didn't see a custom option there.
The skins are really durable (they have a mesh core that adds almost no thickness) and wrap pretty much around the whole device.
You can also download matching screen art to get a full wrap effect.
Full disclosure. I have no connection to the company, but they are local to me. I bought a skin for my nano a few months ago and love it. No bulk, a smooth, but not slick, surface - still looks brand new.
