WWDC Live: Dan Wood, Karelia Software
One of the first developers I got a chance to sit down with at WWDC was Dan Wood of Karelia Software, makers of the website-building app, Sandvox. I got his thoughts on the Keynote and the state of Mac software development. He's recently been blogging about marketing for developers and working to start a conversation about self-promotion in the Indy software community. Check out the interview after the jump, and be sure to check out the developer marketing tips offered at his blog.

Just a friendly comment. It is a big no-no to shoot an interview subject directly against a wall. Even if the room is boring, it adds depth.
I know this is the internet, but television rules still apply.
Love what you guys are doing, looking forward to more interviews.

Understood, and I agree. However, in my hotel room, where it was necessary to conduct some of the interviews for lack of better space, the only open floor space was between the bed and the wall :(. It was this, or shoot them lounging on my bed, which just felt like a different kind of interview.

Yea, with the added info, I'm glad that you decided to shoot the interview the way you did. :)
Good Stuff.
