A history of Macintosh gaming

Feeling nostalgic? Applemctom has posted a great video detailing the evolution of Mac gaming from Dark Tower, released in 1986, right up to the resurgence and explosion of gaming on the iPhone.
Take a look and see if your favorites are covered. My vote for inclusion in the sequel is Wolfenstein 3D.
Here's the video:

Aww, it seems to have eaten my message. Well, suffice it to say, this omits so much.... many classes of games are just ignored:
- Early Mac games, e.g. Infocom's last gasp, Spectrum Holobyte (Tetris, anyone?), Mindscape, etc..
- Early Mouse-based adventures, e.g.Deja Vu, Alone in the Dark, etc.
- Cliff Johnson's brilliant Mac puzzle-adventure games (e.g. Fool's Errand)
- More on the wonderful LucasArts games of the early 90s
- SimCity, anyone? (and every other Sim-game)
- CD gaming born on the Mac (e.g. The Manhole, 7th Guest, etc.)
- Original MacPlay (from Blackthorne, Flashback, Legend of Kyrandia, etc. to Fallout)
- Platforming on the Mac (e.g. Prince of Persia)
- More Bungie (Marathon, Myth, MacWorld 1999's infamous Halo demo)
- Reborn MacPlay (lots of awesome stuff, though mainly ports at this point)
- the tragedy/travesty of crappy ports: GraphSim, Aspyr, etc.
- edugames (Oregon Trail, Carmen Sandiego, etc.)
The early 90s were really the golden age of Mac gaming, although I'd have to s
I also wanted to mention that it wasn't until after StarCraft that Blizzard started making hybrid boxes. WarCraft II came out in a Mac-specific version (it even ran on 68K machines, while the later hybrid version doesn't!), and StarCraft, although the bits were hybrid, came out in a (Power) Mac-specific big box with a Mac-specific CD label.
The current editions of WC2, WC3, WoW, Diablo1/2, and StarCraft are all hybrid packages, however. Blizzard's real claim to fame, in my opinion, is that for some time they have developed the Mac versions concurrently with the PC versions, allowing simultaneous releases of both versions in the same box.
If it's not complete blasphemy to say this, I am really happy with the refreshed Crystal Quest available for the Xbox 360. There's a "retro" mode with the original graphics and sounds (the only big change there is that the "end of level gasp" is toned down a bit) as well as a nicely updated version that I prefer.

Shufflepuck http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/28272
Marathon http://source.bungie.org/
Maelstrom http://www.devolution.com/~slouken/Maelstrom/
...and when you take a look at Ambrosia's page, you'll notice they ported some of their old games to MacOS X.
The Marathon Series is the apex of true mac gaming. It's still played too and is open source.

"The era of shitty ROM games?" What kind of accent is this? ;) But seriously: the video leaves out a lot and misrepresents some things.

Really poorly researched. It comes off more like a history of this guy's Mac games.
And not one mention of Glider? Tsk. That's as classic Mac as it gets.

Yeah, that was lame.
