It looks so good but the name makes me want to tear my hair out. Why the z? Just why? Still I'll probably use it when I go back to uni at the end of next month.

True, the application was originally called iStudent Pro, but for some reason they decided to change it. Still very useful, got it all set up for when I start classes in a few week. I'm a sucker for a nice UI.

Yep the name's a killer. If you can't spell properly it doesn't bode well. And "Pro?" What? It's for students, not pros... oh dear.
Nice-looking app though. Change the name back and I'll be recommending it to my students...

Got a little insight into the name change, direct from the "iStudiez Pro" blog:
"The motivation for the change of app’s name is simple. Those of you who tried different schedule planners developed for iPhone before choosing our app will easily understand the reason: we consider iStudiez Pro unique in every respect and therefore we don’t want it to be associated with any other application that happened to bear similar name."

Unbelievable. Dat name don't exsactly spel 'acadmeic kredibility", does it! It's like putting a picture of a turd on a chocolate bar wrapper.
Seriously, developers, if you're reading: it's painful. Please, please change it.

Wow I want this. It's one of those apps that looks like it's worth every penny... shame about the new name though!

It would be great if they could turn this into a GTD/business todo app.

I love the idea behind this app, and will probably download it (unless I can find my way to that promo code), but does anyone have a suggestion for a similar app that syncs with a desktop component as well? Free or paid, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I heard from the developers that these is a desktop version of this coming out sometime in the future. They are working on it currently. And it will sync with the iPhone/iTouch version :)

I love the idea of this app, but wish it could sync to a desktop component. Any suggestions on some iPhone/desktop pairings that I could use as a school organizer? Paid or free, any suggestions would be welcome!

I currently use Things for the Mac/iPhone as my GTD app. It works great, and looks amazing. It's a bit pricey, but worth it if it's put to use every day. I wish that they would add some of the functionality of iStudiez to make it more suited for students.

Just downloaded it and it seems like it's going to come in handy when I start classes in a few weeks. I love how you can see your schedule in a weekly view too! You can even add room numbers, instructors, and categories to your classes. Very well thought out.
