I was hoping they would have fixed iPhoto to Facebook syncing.

What's wrong with the FB syncing?

The tagging is a messed up. My girlfriend got 72 notifications for 16 photos. Also you end up getting duplicate albums sometimes when it syncs incorrectly. I remember trying to dual tag my photos both on Facebook and on iPhoto, because the other one got them wrong!

I was not aware that iPhoto allowed you to manually tag photos to be uploaded, but I do see that it automatically does so with Faces. I'll have to look into that. :)
I've never had an issue with duplicate albums, however.

Looks like it comes in at 169.1 MB for Snow Leopard (10A421).

What camera roll problem??

I don't have an issue with Facebook syncing on mine, nor do I seem to have an issue with the camera roll on my iPhone. What are these issues?
Back on topic, I had one of these iPhoto hardcover books made a couple of months ago for the first time, which was dedicated to my dog who passed away a couple of years ago. I was extremely happy with the ease of how I created it with iPhoto, as well as the excellent end result. Well worth the money.

The update took a while to work well for me. I had to close and re open iPhoto 3 times before it started acting normal again.
First the app was just slow. It took about 2 full minutes to display any content. So I rebooted, just to be safe. Then it wouldn't let me click any buttons or items in the left sidebar (all were greyed out). Then on the 3rd launch it seems to be working now. It was weird though.

Whenever me (and others) take photos, they don't show up in our camera roll. They only sync up when uploaded to the computer.

How else are your iPhone photos going to end up in iPhoto if you don't sync it? That made no sense.

I wish they'd update Aperture with new features (ahem, like the GPS one in iPhoto!!!)

I also wish Aperture would not be left in the cold!!! But I think a new version of Aperture will be made available together with or shortly after Snow Leopard. At least that's what I hope. Aperture is really great in my opinion and better suited for a more intensive use with DSLR. But it misses some features like face recognition, GPS support and new faces support. GPS is available through a third party plugin but it is nowhere near as neatly integrated and as well thought after as the one in iPhoto.

anyone know if this fixes the iPhoto crashing problem during start up? I hate having to wait 10 minutes before being able to use iPhoto...

imat77: agreed, I followed the Maperture Beta right from start to finish and I know the issues, its really down to the restrictions from Apple in the API and some other pesky things but GPS (a-la iPhoto) style would be something I would love.
Can't wait to see the leap this time, remember the one from v1 ->2!

You need to read my post better next time. Right after we take a photo, they don't show up in our CAMERA ROLL. We can only see the photos when we sync them to the computer. We can't edit them in apps right after they are taken.

First of all, you may want to hit reply to continue on a thread rather than starting an entirely new one.
Second of all, if you are taking photos on your iPhone and they don't appear in your phone's camera roll, then it's either a problem with the software on your phone or you have more than 10,000 photos in your camera roll (as a lot of people are finding out apparently). I'd suggest doing a restore of the iPhone software. This has nothing to do with iPhoto or this article.
