Yellow sticky in the sky, are those new iMacs that I spy? Apple Store down 8:30p ET

It's Monday night in America, and that means one thing: football. OK, two things -- time for an Apple Store update, and football. The store is down as of 8:30 pm ET (thanks for the tip, Will T.), and with the ongoing rumors of hardware refreshes, combined with a steady stream of tidbits about reduced iMac inventory around the country... well, you might just wake up to a pleasant surprise.
Let us know what you see when it comes back up, mmkay? Update 9:15pm: Apparently, nothing much. It's back with no visible changes, everyone exhale. Update II, 1:20 am: And now it's down again. What on earth are they smoking over there?
P.S. If you haven't noticed the Deals of the Day ticker on our front page (powered by our friends at Dealmac.com), take a peek -- maybe you can get a bargain on a previous-generation Mac.

Dear god people, does Apple have that tight of a hold on your balls that when the store goes down you all freak out and get giddy? Pathetic.

We get excited when the store goes down about as much as you enjoy trolling around the Mac forum boards looking to strut your child like tendencies.

I'd like to see Core i7 adoption in at least one iMac.
Apple needs a mini-tower core i7 desktop that sits between the mini and pro, with no monitor, starting at $999 (Dell's Core i7 is down to $749 and they even have Core i7 laptops now!)
There is such a giant hole between the $599 mini and $2499 Pro, filled only with the iMac, which cannot be purchased without a widescreen monitor I already have 4 of.
I don't want to pay a price premium for a cute, tiny, hard to mod mini, or an overspec'd, overpriced pro, or a 24" monitor. I just want my money to go to a solid processor that will last me a few years (and maybe I could even upgrade the processor myself!)

Apple TV refresh is a pipe dream but I would kill for it regardless. Perhaps a more realistic outlook is Processor bumps? What would they choose for a aesthetic change?...

I really hope Apple isn't evil enough to release a new iPod touch with a camera just 19 days after the last one. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Apple's return policy 14 days? :/

there is no ipod touch with a camera. yes it was apparently considered and even prototyped and then trashed. the soonest we might see a camera is a year from now. all that talk about production delays etc was just talk. the cases were people reacting from talk of the prototypes not some great knowledge that any day now the 'real' update will happen.

I think it's funny that so many people are disappointed that Apple didn't include a camera in the recent update to the iPod Touch. It's pointed out that there is a space in the new iPod Touch, that would perfectly fit the camera that was added to the most recent iPod Nano.
Well, how many people wouldn't be screaming foul if Apple put a low-quality, video-only camera into the iPod Touch? Also, the iPod Touch does fill a niche that some people miss, that it could not if it had a camera. It allows people who work in offices with strict 'no camera' policies to have their camera-free cell phone, and then have the Touch for running 'iPhone' apps at work.
