Macworld 2010: The faces behind Welcome to Macintosh
The producer/director team of Mac history documentary Welcome to Macintosh came by the TUAW booth to chat a bit yesterday; Josh Rizzo and Rob Baca shared their experience as the film has taken off, the work they're currently doing to update it and add new interviews, and their expectations for the next project down the pike. Thanks to Rob & Josh for taking the time to visit!

Well, I saw it in a theater with a large crowd and the crowd loved it. There are a lot of great laughs in it and a lot of interesting stories. I talked to a large number of people who attended the Minneapolis premiere and they all had high praise for it.
Can't wait for 2.0.
Surely I'm not the only one who thought Welcome to Macintosh was really really bad. It lacked the rudimentary coherence and polish that even a film student would have applied. On top of that the editing held on the interviewees for too long, dragging the pace down to a crawl. Some of the anecdotes were vaguely interesting but overall the film was a waste of my time. Thanks but no thanks.
