iPhoto update, Bonjour Print Services available for Windows users

Along with the iTunes update, iPhoto '09 users will also see an upgrade to 8.1.2 sitting in their Software Update right now -- namely to fix import and syncing issues with the iPhone, iPod and Apple TV. Canon printer and scanner users will also have the latest software for their products installed.

You can pick up the 12.9mb update right now in the Software Update app.

Windows users can also download Bonjour Print Services to discover and configure Bonjour-enabled printers using the Bonjour Printer Wizard.

Thanks to those who tipped us off!

I thought we've had Bonjour for Windows for a while now. I've used it from my work ThinkPad to discover and print to a printer shared by my iMac.

man. I could answer this for you if your question was clear.

You ask:
"Is it possible to print with my iMac to my printer on a windows computer?"

Is the printer connected to your iMac OR is the printer connected to your Windows computer? ...and are they on the same network?

I have the same issue, my PC is the stationary unit and my Mac is the mobile unit. I can share with Windows Printer Sharing but things don't always work right and there can be authentication issues if you have no password on the printer but require a password on a file share.

I have tried moving the printer to my AirPort but then there are issues with driver compatibility (some drivers won't work thru a network connection) and the fact that you have no control of the port name and Windows can't take port name changes (bad for the marriage).

They have had this program for a while, I don't know why it is worth a write up but hey, it gives us another chance to complain about the lack of bonjour print server for Windows.
