TUAW Video: Unboxing the iPad

Video number one appears above, and the other videos appear in the posts linked below. We are deeply appreciative of the opportunity to get our grubby palms on the iPad early enough to get these clips to you now. They may not have the smooth production values of Apple's walkthroughs, but they were made with love.

Special thanks to IPEVO for their P2V camera, which was used to shoot the iPad demo.
Switched to YouTube versions to get around Brightcove issues.

The irony is that with all the talk about video on HTML5, TUAW chose to continue to use the Flash Brightcove player that neither the iPhone or iPad can use :)

Just watched the Video again,
And, why does he even need to comment on the fact, that they were unable to test it in direct sunlight, when we can clearly see reflections in a normal lighted room.
It will not get any better when the light get's stronger >.>

might want to lock down the settings on your camcorder next time. The exposure going up and down as well as the focus jumping back and forth was very off putting.

Thanks Michael! When you get to the Keynote app, would you mind seeing if videos can be imported and played in presentations? (That's the deal-breaker or deal-maker for me).

That's a definition of irony! Video of iPad that I cannot see on my IPhone (or iPad)!

Well I'm not gonna be a douchebag and complain; thanks for the vids! I hope they sell a detachable keyboard stand in the future so we don't have to buy the dock AND the keyboard dock separately.

"Fresh-faced refugees from a Benetton ad".

Best laugh I've had all day.
