TUAW Poll: What Apple product are you going to buy with your tax refund?

Happy Tax Day!

It's April 15th, and in America, that means that the air is filled with the sound of screaming taxpayers who waited until the last moment to file their returns. For those who may have filed early and might have even received a tax refund check, we offer this distraction to cover up the sight of your next door neighbor in his backyard shredding documents.

Apple products are probably more popular now than they've ever been, so we'd like to know what you'd spend your hypothetical (or real) tax refund check on. Answer our poll, see what other TUAW readers are lusting for, and leave us a comment if your favorite choice isn't in the list.

An unexpected $2500 education credit means I'm getting back more than I thought (thanks Obama).

So, instead of putting it all towards bills, I'm looking to spend about $500 on something. Hmm, what new products do Apple have for about $500?

I bought an iPad 16GB two days ago, and I was hemming and hawing about whether or not I spent money at an inadvisable time. Turns out, my taxes are netting me a $3500 refund.

I am no longer fretting.

No, Apple has an across-the-board policy that protects customers from this kind of thing. Bring your MBP back to the store, with ALL of the fixins that were in the box (including the box), and they'll exchange you for the new model.

They only charge the restocking fee (usually) because they can no longer sell an open-box computer as "new." But, since Apple will never sell that computer on their shelves again, then the restocking fee goes out the window. Plus, they just generally don't want to screw people.

128 GB iPad 3G. What, they don't make one? Well, I guess I'll just have to wait. I don't have a refund anyway--I'm paying them enough to buy that hypothetical iPad.

My problem is that both my wife and daughter want an ipad also. If I buy myself one - hell to pay around here.

I was all ready to get a new 13" Macbook. However, the 13" refresh isn't worth buying, and there is no other Apple product I want. This is a serious Apple oversight. At the moment, I'm looking at an Asus u33jt...
