Oh dear; the Apple Store is back up

Either maintenance or new MacBook or new MacBook Airs?

Not true that nothing was updated, the site now shows "coming May 28" on the front page for Canada (and probably other countries) instead of "coming late may".

Just wondering why the Apple Store has to shut down for a price change or a product add. Does any other site do this? Imagine if Amazon took a breather every time it added a new product. Maybe the guys in charge of iDisk run the online store.

Isn't it typically the case that when the site goes down on weekends, it's more of a housekeeping/technical thing? They only seem to release products on weekdays (usually Tuesdays, sometimes Wednesdays).

That said, I hope it's a CRAZY new Mac Pro. Couldn't come at a worse time, though. I was all excited to buy one and they took too long, so I bought a new house instead. Now I won't be able to afford the Mac Pro for a long time.

Why would ever any decent webshop have to go down for new products added, a good system will allow you to add the new products with an effective from date....

13", 15", and 17" iPads??? With 12, 18, and 24 hour battery life???

Hope they are adding new iPod Touches.. I want to get one but don't want to buy the present version which is anyways due for an update...
